Second consignment of crude oil to arrive from Sudan
Mangalore, June 03: After receiving 80 tmt of `equity` crude oil from Sudan last month, New Mangalore Port is expecting another 81 tmt consignment from the African country today, a top official of the Mangalore Refineries and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) said.
Mangalore, June 03: After receiving 80 tmt of "equity" crude oil from Sudan last month, New Mangalore Port is expecting another 81 tmt consignment from the African country today, a top official of the Mangalore Refineries and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) said.
The first consignment of 80 tmt of crude oil from Sudan was received by Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani and Union petroleum minister Ram Naik last month.
The second consignment of crude oil would be processed at MRPL, he added.
"This (receiving crude oil from Sudan) is a continuous process," said the official.
