New Delhi: Bollywood heartthrob Ayushmann Khurrana has recently stated that Pakistani artistes should not be attacked in India. And, instead, our focus must be on fighting terrorism.

"I think of course we should attack the terrorists for sure but we should not attack the artists, that's about it," ANI quoted him as saying.


Earlier, superstar Salman Khan questioned the campaign against Pakistani actors working in India, saying they were not terrorists.


The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena was the first to ask Pak artistes to leave India. Later, the Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association decided to ban Pakistani artistes from working in Indian movies. 


On the professional front, Ayushmann is currently working on Parineeti Chopra starrer 'Meri Pyaari Bindu'. The Akshay Roy directorial is expected to release next year.
