Lucknow, Oct 08: The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court today adjourned to October 13 hearing of a petition challenging the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kesari Nath Tripathi's ruling allowing merger of 40 BSP legislators with the Samajwadi Party. The case is pending before a two-member bench comprising Justice Jagdish Bhalla and Justice P K Chatterjee. As the latter was not available today, the court adjourned the hearing for October 13. BSP legislature party leader Swami Prasad Maurya had filed the petition challenging the Speaker's ruling recognising the formation of a separate outfit Loktantrik Bahujan Samaj party which later merged with SP.
