Patna, Sept 30: Charging the Bihar government with having "failed" on all fronts, senior Samata leader and Railway Minister Nitish Kumar today suggested the Bihar government to hand over the governance of the state to the Centre.
The Bihar government has "failed miserably" to take the
state on the path of development. It is better that the RJD ministry should hand over the administration of the state to the Centre for its all-round development, he said addressing
the platinum jubilee celebration of Bihar industries
association here.
He said for execution of each and every mega project, the state sought the help of the Centre. If Centre is to take initiative for infrastructural development such as construction of roads, setting up of power plants and other related matters the Bihar government should think in terms of handing over the governance to the Centre, Kumar said. If the duly elected government could not fulfill the aspirations of the people it should abdicate, he said.
The Centre is working overtime for the development of the state, Kumar said and charged the state government with not not being serious towards economic growth of the state. Bureau Report
