New Delhi, Dec 03: Six establishments including Tata Motors have been selected as the best employers by the central board of trustees of Employees Provident Fund Organisation. This was disclosed by Labour Minister Sahib Singh Verma after the EPFO board meeting here today.
The awards would be given by Human Resources Minister Murli Manohar Joshi late this evening.
The other entities include Christian Medical College at Vellore in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation.
The award comes in the backdrop of Singh's recent bash against the defaulters, whose names were put on the public domain for failing to credit the employer's share in the provident fund.
