Hota to take charge as UPSC chairman tomorrow
New Delhi, June 25: P C Hota, a senior IAS officer, will take over as chairman of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) here tomorrow.
New Delhi, June 25: P C Hota, a senior IAS officer,
will take over as chairman of the Union Public Service
Commission (UPSC) here tomorrow.
Hota, a former vice chairman of Delhi Development
Authority, will replace Lt Gen (Retd) Surinder Nath who is
demitting office after a three and half years stint with UPSC.
Nath during his tenure brought in several far reaching measures like launching of a website, computerised facilitation counter and introduction of new application form common for all examinations throughout the country. Bureau Report
