Dubai, June 26: The former Iraqi information minister Mohammed Said al-Sahhaf will reappear tomorrow for the first time since the fall of Baghdad in an interview conducted there by al-Arabiya television, the news channel said. The interview, conducted in Sahhaf's "hideout in Baghdad," will be aired at 1900 GMT (0030 IST) Friday, the Dubai-based channel announced in a statement sent today.

The interview, in which Sahhaf will reveal "a lot of important information about the war and the fall of the Iraqi regime" of Saddam Hussein on April 9, gives the lie to reports that the former information minister was captured by US forces, it said.
