New Delhi: Bollywood actor Salman Khan recently found himself amid fresh controversy when he made a statement regarding his tough shooting in Ali Abbas Zafar's upcoming film 'Sultan'. The 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' actor reportedly made some 'insensitive' remark which irked many people.

Irrespective of the fact that Salman is a big name in the industry, many celebrities came forth to slam the actor without mincing words.

Some, however, also supported the actor saying that he was misquoted.

After Lisa Ray, Sona Mohapatra and some others – actress Kangana Ranaut shared her opinion on the same. Considering the straightforward nature she is known for, her reaction to the whole matter is honest yet balanced.

According to a report in IndianExpress.com, the 'Tanu Weds Manu' actress was quoted as saying in an interview with the website, “We all agree that it’s a horrible thing to say. Something that is extremely insensitive. But let’s not encourage that mentality where we want to point fingers at each other and want to feel greater by running people down by trolling them.”

She added, “As a society we have to take responsibility and stand united. It’s a disgrace for the whole society and not an individual. So, like what Salim uncle says is right, that we are all sorry about it. It’s not about an individual. We all collectively feel sorry for that thought process.”
