Kolkata, Nov 20: Apollo Health & Lifestyle Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited, will set up 250 day-care clinics all over the country within next three years, a company official said. The clinics would be set up in different cities like Delhi, Faridabad, Kolkata, Noida and Ghaziabad, and they would be purely based on the franchise model, the chief executive officer of Apollo Health, Ratan Jalan, told reporters here today.
He said the company would provide all kinds of facilities like pathological services, specialist clinics and pharmacy under one roof. He said the day-care industry in the country is of Rs 70,000 crore.
The company had invested substantial money for systems, software and product development.
Apollo Health has plans to open eight such clinics, one of which was already operational on theatre road, in the city in areas Cossipore, Salt Lake, Behala, Garia, Burrabazar and Howrah, he said.
For manning the clinics, the company had engaged Ma Foi consultants for conducting psychometric tests in the screening process.
