Yangon, Dec 05: Myanmar's former dictator Ne Win died today morning at the age of 92, a source close to the family said. The source said he died at 7:30am (0100 GMT), after being in fragile health for many years.
"He died at 7:30 in the morning. Everybody here has been expecting it for some time," he said.

Ne Win had been under house arrest since March following the arrest of his son-in-law and three grandsons for plotting a coup against the junta.
The office of the official government spokesman said they could not confirm Ne Win's death, but were currently trying to confirm the details. Bureau Report
