New Delhi, Sep 16: BJP today appreciated the people of Jammu and Kashmir for actively participating in the electoral process and thus rejecting the threat by terrorists who had sought to disrupt it. "The turn out of the electorate to exercise their franchise in the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir shows their rejection of the threat by the Pakistan-backed terrorists who had been indulging in anti-Indian propoganda and also efforts to disrupt the elections," party spokesman Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told reporters here. He said that the entire world should know that Pakistan is the "factory that churns out terrorists and till the factory is closed, this menace of cross-border terrorism would continue."

He lashed out at Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf for his remarks on Gujarat saying, "There are people in the country who can take care and it was not for the Pakistan ruler to make such remarks."
Naqvi said that BJP is a national party and "we don't want any community to feel insecure."
