Vellore, June 13: Former Union Minister of State for Finance Gingee Ramachandran today said he was ready to cooperate with the CBI in the probe into the 'cash for transfer' scam, in which his personal secretary was arrested. "However, till today, the CBI has not made any enquiries with me," he said. Ramachandran was speaking to reporters after a one hour meeting with MDMK leader Vaiko in Vellore Central Jail, where he has been lodged under Pota. He said that the Central Review Committee, set up to review cases of Pota, would soon submit its report to the central government.
The personal secretary of Ramachandran, A Perumalswamy, was arrested on May 22 in the scam case. Bureau Report
