Jaipur, Aug 09: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Rajasthan government has shifted 39 senior IAS officers giving promotions to eight of them. Narhari Sharma, special secretary home, has been promoted and posted as commissioner, command area development, Indira Gandhi Canal Project In Bikaner, M K Khanna, Housing Commissioner, Rajasthan Housing Board, has been promoted and posted as commissioner (second), departmental inquiries, an official order issued here said today.

Kushal Singh has been posted as chairperson of state pollution control board, Fateh Singh Charan made principal Secretary, Animal Husbandry Department, Alka Kala as member Secretary, State Planning Board, M K Khanna as chairman cum Managing Director of Cooperative Dairy Federation R R Haldia as chairperson taxation board and B P Arya as principal secretary administrative reforms department. Anil Vaish has been shifted as chairman, Indira Gandhi Canal Board, Gurdev Singh as Managing Director of State Warehousing Corporation, Asha Singh as chairperson cum Managing Director of Small Industries Corporation.

Among those shifted include S Ahmed who has been posted secretary, women and child development department, R N Meena as secretary, irrigation Umraomal Salodaia (secretary food and civil supply), Ashok Jain (secretary, social welfare), Ashok Singhavi (secretary transport), Ajit Kumar Singh (secretary, programme implementation, O P Saini, (director agriculture department) and Manohar Kant Kalohiya as Commissioner Labour and employment department.

Khem Raj Chaudhary has been made divisional commissioner, Jodhpur and Dharm Singh Sagar has been transferred as divisional commissioner, Jaipur. Bureau Report
