New Delhi, July 03: Strongly opposing implementation of the conditional access system (CAS), the NCP today charged the Prime Minister's Office with making "undue and unnecessary intervention" on the matter. "This gives credence to allegations that the whole exercise of implementing CAS is influenced by omissions and commissions," NCP general secretary Tariq Anwar said in a statement here and demanded an inquiry into it. Pointing out that CAS cannot be made compulsory, he said common people would oppose the idea of "paying more and receiving less". Bureau Report
