New Delhi: Internationally acclaimed Sweden based crime writer, Henning mankell died on Monday at the age of 67 years.

Popularly known for his crime fiction, Henning wrote around 50 novels along with numerous plays.


His success spread it's wings across borders, known for his dark and soul-searching writings, Henning lost his battle to cancer.


The unfortunate demise was announced by Mankell's publisher on the official website, reports suggest.
