Assam, Nagaland to jointly counter militancy in border areas
Golaghat (Assam), Oct 15: Assam and Nagaland have decided to undertake joint operations to counter militancy and anti-social activity in the border areas of the two neighbouring states.

This was decided at a high level meeting here yesterday
between the two states on the law and order problem in their
border areas.
The two states were represented by the Upper Assam Commissioner, T Y Das, and Nagaland Commisioner, T N Manen. The next round of the meeting would be held at Dimapur in Nagaland.
