Twinkle had apparently tweeted, “Sri Sri got his noble foot and half his beard stuck in his mouth in a yogic pose that Baba Ramdev perfected a while ago.” #HolyMenandHairyTales.”

In response to Twinkle’s tweet, Darshak Hathi, the International Director of AOL, who was visibly hurt and charged with emotions tweeted:

“Millions of followers r going 2 boycott #Houseful3 4 hurting the sentiments by inappropriate and ill intended comments f @mrsfunnybones on Sri Sri.”

Twinkle was prompt enough in clarifying her stance by saying she never intended to hurt anyone’s sentiments. But Hathi’s intimidation miffed her.

Hathi tweeted: “Error of Judgement or Fear of #BoycottHousefull3. Anyway Being Old & Being wise is different thing."

The spiritual guru had recently made headlines for reportedly saying, “I am totally against honouring Malala Yousafzai with the prize and it is of no use.” However, the AOL issued a statement on Twitter to clarify that Sri Sri was misquoted.
