Urmila Matondkar-Mohsin Akhtar Mir marriage: Is the couple planning a Nikah?

Urmila and Mohsin, who flew to Amritsar to visit the Golden Temple to seek blessings, will have a Nikah to get their marriage registered according to the Muslim tradition, reports suggest.

Mumbai: Urmila Matondkar surprised one and all by secretly tying the nuptial knot with her Kashmiri businessman-turned-model beau Mohsin Akhtar Mir on Thursday according to Hindu rituals. And now the latest buzz suggests that the couple will also have a Nikah.

According to a report in Bollywoodlife.com, Urmila and Mohsin, who flew to Amritsar to visit the Golden Temple to seek blessings, will have a Nikah to get their marriage registered according to the Muslim tradition.

Urmila wanted the wedding to be a very private affair with just family and a few friends in attendance. Jewellery designer Paulomi Sanghvi and ace fashion genius Manish Malhotra were the only two people from the showbiz fraternity to be part of Urmila’s wedding ceremony.

The diva of the 1990s may also host a bash for her friends from Bollywood.
