Kanpur, Aug 28: Pota detainee and Independent MLA in Uttar Pradesh, Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya has been shifted to Post Graduate Institute in Lucknow following serious illness. Raja Bhaiya was shifted to PGI Lucknow in an ambulance escorted by four police vehicles, Singh's lawyer D D Mehta said here.
A large number of his well-wishers and activists of the Samajwadi Party had assembled outside the district jail before the jailed MLA was moved to Lucknow.
