Aligarh, June 05: Two persons were shot dead by unidentified gunmen on the Aligarh-Faridabad state highway today, police said. The car-borne assailants intercepted the victims, who were riding a motorcycle, and shot them, they said.

Old enmity was stated to the motive behind the killing, police added.
