New Delhi, Dec 01: According to reports received here, local golfer Katsumune Imai emerged the runaway winner with an aggregate of 24-under 264.
Imai's closest opponents were Brenden Jones and fellow Japanese pro Shingo Katayama who finished seven strokes behind the winner at 17-under 271 apiece. Suashi Tajima, Jong Duck-Kim and Suneyuki Nakajima occupied the tied-fourth place at 16-under 272.
The Indian golfer who was placed third overnight, gave it his best shot but such are the vagaries of professional golf that sometimes your best effort proves a shade short of what is required.
