Lucknow, Feb 10: In a major jolt to the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Uttar Pradesh, two party MLAs have resigned from the membership of the state assembly following their alleged neglect by the party leadership.
While BSP MLA from Beniganj in Hardoi district Satyanarain announced his resignation in the assembly, the other MLA from Ajitmal in the abolished Auraiya district, Madan Singh Gautam, handed over his resignation letter to Speaker Keshri Nath Tripathi here.
Both have also resigned from the primary membership of BSP.
However, the Speaker was yet to accept the resignations.
