Jet, Sahara reschedule flights for I-Day
New Delhi, Aug 11: The country`s leading private airline Jet Airways has rescheduled 10 flights on Monday and Tuesday, while Sahara Airlines has changed the schedule of nine flights due to closure of airspace over Delhi for Independence Day celebrations.
New Delhi, Aug 11: The country's leading private airline Jet Airways has rescheduled 10 flights on Monday and Tuesday, while Sahara Airlines has changed the schedule of nine flights due to closure of airspace over Delhi for Independence Day celebrations.
On the two days, jet flights operating between 7am and 8am, and 5pm and 6pm have been rescheduled. Its Delhi-Mumbai flight, scheduled for 7:50am has been delayed by 15 minutes, while the Delhi-Pune flight will leave 20 minutes earlier at 4:30pm.
The Delhi-Mumbai-Delhi flight will depart Delhi at 6pm, a delay of 35 minutes, while the Delhi-Kolkata flight will leave 40 minutes later at 6pm. The flights affected are Delhi-Bangalore (a delay of 50 minutes), Bangalore-Mumbai (50 minutes), Delhi-Hyberabad-Delhi (65 minutes), Delhi-Ahmedabad-Delhi (20 minutes), Delhi-Vadodara (45 minutes).
Air Sahara's Delhi-Mumbai Delhi flight has been rescheduled for departure from 6pm to 6:40pm, while the Delhi-Bangalore-Chennai-Kolkata flight has been delayed by 50 minutes to depart at 8am. The other affected flights are: Delhi-Bangalore, Delhi-Lucknow-Gorakhpur-Kolkata and Mumbai-Delhi. Bureau Report
