New Delhi, Aug 03: After his consultations with various groups during two separate visits to Kashmir valley and Jammu, the Centre's interlocutor N N Vohra will travel to Ladakh today to pursue the dialogue process with a cross-section of the society there.
Vohra will first visit Buddhist-dominated Leh district and after interactions with people there travel to Muslim-majority Kargil district, official sources said here today.
During his almost week-long stay in Ladakh, he will meet leaders of the Leh and Kargil autonomous hill development councils, political parties, including Congress, National Conference, BJP and PDP, besides Buddhist, Islamic organisations and any other group or individuals desirous of expressing their views on restoring peace in the state.
Ahead of his Ladakh visit, he briefed Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the progress of the talks besides holding a series of discussions with deputy prime minister L K Advani and state Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.

Not extending any individual invitations, Vohra has maintained that "doors are open for anyone wishing to share views on restoration of normalcy in the state".

Vohra, who has already undertaken a nine-day trip to Kashmir valley and seven-day visit to Jammu region, has noted that the current round of interactions was to understand the aspirations of the people of the state and the next round would see "more intensive dialogue on specific issues identified during the current interactions."

He was appointed the interlocutor in February.
