Belgaum, Oct 20: Looking fit and cheerful, Indian ace tennis player Leander Paes is raring to get back to the tennis court following the recovery from the brain lesion.
"I am eager to get back to the game", Paes told reporters after distributing the prizes and trophies of the Belgaum Open ATP Challenger.
He said he hoped to play the tennis Masters Cup doubles tournament in Houston from November 8 to 16. He said he would play in the tournament depending on the advice of the doctors treating him after the outcome of the MRI scan which would be known by the end of this month.
"....There is no infection whatsoever now", he said, terming his recovery as "the second lease of life".
He was undergoing rigorous physical training and practice in the gym every day to reduce some weight gained due to heavy dose of medication, Paes said.

Paes, who won the mixed doubles title at the Australian Open and Wimbledon with Martina Navratilova has been out of action since August due to a brain lesion.

Paes and David Rikl, one of the top doubles teams in the world, have qualified for the next month`s season ending tennis Masters Cup.
