Udaipur, Aug 24: Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee vice-president and former state minister Hanuman Prabhakar passed away after a prolonged illness here, family sources said. Prabhakar, 81, breathed his last at Maharana Bhupal Hospital here last evening where he was being treated for brain haemorrhage, they said.
He is survived by three sons and a daughter.
Born on June 16, 1923 Prabhakar was elected to state assembly in 1980 and 1989 and served as Cabinet Minister in the ministries headed by Jagannath Pahadia and Shiv Charan Mathur.
Governor Nirmal Chand Jain, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and PCC chief Girija Vyas in separate messages condoled his death.
