Imphal, Nov 24: Separatist United National Liberation Front in Manipur, on its 38th year of existence, today said Naga peace talks failed to "achieve anything".
It was meaningless to hold talks with Centre "except to negotiate a compromise on the issue of independence and sovereignty, UNLF said in a statement on its 38th year of formation.
Without naming NSCN(I-M) it said the parleys with the Centre since 1997 'had not resulted in anything.'
MPLF, had recently decided to begin military and financial cooperation and coordination systematically among its constituents.
Official sources said the government was watching the recent underground activities with great concern.
