8 Pak boys to be freed soon from Faridkot jail
Jaito (Punjab), Sept 24: Punjab government has ordered release of eight Pakistani children from Bostral Jail, Faridkot on the directive of the Central government.
Jaito (Punjab), Sept 24: Punjab government has ordered release of eight Pakistani children from Bostral Jail, Faridkot on the directive of the Central government.
Faridkot Deputy Commissioner Hussan Lal told reporters here today that the children, taken into custody by the Indian Army inside Indian territory in the border districts of Gurdaspur, Amritsar and Ferozepur, would soon be handed over to their parents.
Arrested between August 28,2002 and July 2, 2003, the children included Asif Shah from district Muzaffargarh, Nasir Ali from Jhung, Amjad Khan from village Shahpur, Sagar from
village Kasur, Babar Ali from village Atari, Asim from district Kasur and Dinesh Kumar from village Amarkot Sindi, Lal said.
The Deputy Commissioner said their parents in Pakistan would be contacted to come and take their custody.
