New Delhi, July 22: Howrah Railway Station will remain closed for rail traffic for three days in September in view of remodelling work at the station. The station would be closed from the evening of September 12 till the morning of September 14 as Eastern Railway has planned to install route relay interlocking as part of upgradation facilities in the station, a northern railway release said today.

While some trains have been rescheduled to terminate at Sealdah or Asansol, some others have been cancelled during the period, the release added.
