Gwalior, Sept 14: Barely a week after his scathing attack on RSS, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh today warned that his government could consider banning Sangh
outfit 'Seva Bharti' for alleged involvement in bomb making.
"On the basis of various evidences and proofs available
against 'Seva Bharti', the government could consider imposing a
ban on this RSS outfit in the state," Singh told reporters
here.
Comparing RSS-controlled organisations to ten heads of demon King Ravana, the Chief Minister said that his charges of bomb making against 'Seva Bharti', which works in tribal areas, have already been proved.
"This has been admitted in the statement given to the police by an activist of the organisation, who had been arrested in Mhow," he said.
Refuting the allegation made by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) that activities of Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) were growing in Madhya Pradesh, Singh said he was the first chief minister in the country to ban SIMI.
A similar ban should be imposed on Bajrang Dal, Singh added.
Singh while talking to reporters on September 10 at Jabalpur had claimed that he had ample proof to establish RSS role in bomb making and had expressed his willingness to send them to BJP leader Uma Bharti if she so desired.
