New Delhi: US First Lady Michelle Obama, who landed here Sunday morning, looked chic in an ensemble designed by India-born Bibhu Mohapatra, who is based in New York.

She was accompanied US President Barack Obama on a three-day state visit to India.


Michelle wore a geometric-print black and white knee-length dress with blue-floral motifs as she emerged from the US Air Force One jet with her husband. She completed the outfit with a matching coat with the same motifs and print and looked stunning in the outfit.


Mohapatra, who specialises in women`s luxury wear with daywear and evening wear, shared a photograph of the US First Lady wearing his creation along with one of his ramp shots.

The power couple were welcomed by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the VVIP terminal of the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
