Four Ulfa ultras surrender in Nalbari
Nalbari, July 18: Four Ulfa militants surrendered before the CRPF in lower Assam`s Nalbari district today, police said here.

The ultras laid down a 1.22 revolver, a country-made pistol, half kg of RDX and a grenade before CRPF's DIG A P Maheswari in Pariahtali CRPF camp near here, they said.
The surrendered ultras have been identified as Gopinath Dowka, Jayanta Das, Tapan Barman and Shaukat, they added.
Nalbari district's Deputy Commissioner K C Sarma and Superintendent of Police S K Phukan were also present at the surrender ceremony.
