Bhopal, Aug 01: BJP members today staged a walkout in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly, dissatisfied with the reply of state home minister Mahendra Boudh, on the issue of kidnapping of two government school teachers and the action taken by the police to check the menace of Rambabu Gadaria gang. Raising the issue through a call attention motion in the house, BJP's Narendra Birthare alleged that despite the government having information about Gadaria gang members planning to strike, it had failed to take the preventive measures.

He also alleged that the area was panic stricken and the schools remained non-functional due to the terror of the gang and further informed the house that even the farmers were not going to their fields.

Narottam Mishra of BJP alleged that the area witnessed criminal activities due to the political patronage of the home minister and urged him not to intervene in the matter of postings and transfers.
The BJP members also alleged that the post of regular Sub-Divional Officer (Police) was lying vacant for over six months and on the day of kidnapping the entire police force was deployed in the duty of the chief minister, who was in the district on the day's visit.

Taking advantage of the situation, the Gadaria gang executed the kidnapping of the two school teachers, they said.
