Srinagar, Oct 24: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed today said his government has formulated a comprehensive plan to bring back to the valley displaced Kashmiri Pandits and it would be submitted to the Centre soon for approval. Reiterating the state government's resolve in this regard, he said, "A majority of migrants, desirous to return to the valley, have enlisted themselves and it is our endeavour to resettle them in clusters gradually for which a conducive atmosphere is being created."
Interacting with a seven-member delegation of committee on rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandit migrants of National Commission for Minorities, headed by Moosa Raza, Sayeed said migrants should not have a feeling of insecurity as they "equally form a part of Kashmiriyat". On properties of migrants in the valley, he said illegal occupation of such assets would not be allowed.
Referring to a recent visit by children of Kashmiri migrant families to the valley, the Chief Minister said the young generation too is passionate about the composite cultural ethos of the state. Meanwhile, the delegation apprised Sayeed of some problems being faced by migrants in various camps in Jammu. Bureau Report
