England, Aug 21: Croatia's outstanding player against England on Wednesday claims he is being lined up to join Chelsea's Russian revolution. Striker Ivica Olic, who tormented England at Portman Road, could be striking fear into Premiership defences on a regular basis next season. Olic recently completed a £6m move from Dinamo Zagreb to CSKA Moscow - but says he could be playing for Chelsea within a year.
His move shattered the Russian transfer record and instantly elevated him to the status of Russia's highest-earning footballer.
But the deal was bankrolled by outside business sources, believed to include Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.
"There were various attractions - the fact that CSKA were in the Champions League and the fact they are challenging for the domestic title.
"But I'll be honest in saying there were other reasons. I have every hope that Mr Abramovich will organise my transfer to Chelsea next year."

Chelsea's new owner has also been building up a stake in Russian League leaders CSKA and is very close to the club's president, Yevgeny Giner.
CSKA were Abramovich's main takeover target before he turned his attentions to Chelsea and the club could not have afforded to sign Olic without major outside backing.
