Summerlin, Oct 09: Chad Campbell and Chris Riley are feeling at home this week, as both played collegiately at UNLV.
Campbell is in his second full year on the PGA Tour and though he has not won, he is considered one of the bright up-and-coming stars. Wednesday, he shot an 8-under 64 at the TPC at Summerlin with six birdies and an eagle.
"There is such great community support for Rebel golf in this town, it would be fun to win here," said Campbell, who finished second at the PGA Championship.
Riley is at 6-under after a 65, just four back of the leaders. "My round today, I hit a lot of greens and I had a lot of chances at birdie," said Riley, who had 32 putts on the round, but just 14 on the back nine. He also hit 18 greens and 13 of 14 greens in regulation at the TPC at Summerlin.
