Lanka release five Indian fishermen
Rameswaram, Sept 29: Five fishermen, who were arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy on September 14, were released today.

The fishermen, hailing from Jagadapattinam in Pudukottai district, were handed over to the Indian coast guard officials at international border line, police said.
The driver of the mechanised boat and the boat were yet to be released as per the directions of a Sri Lankan court.
They were sent to their native village by the officials of the fisheries department.
