Anantapur, June 05: People's War Group (PWG) naxalites blasted a police station at Roddam Mandal, 70 kms from here, in Andhra Pradesh in the wee hours today, police said. A group of 10 naxalites stormed the police station and ordered the Sub-Inspector Nabi Rasool and constable Nagaraju out of the police station and blasted it with a land mine, they said. The SI and constable were later tied with ropes outside the police station. The naxals also left a letter with the police personnel stating that their action was in retaliation to the police encounters at Cuddapah recently, they added. Bureau Report
