Arwal, Jan 03: Outlawed Ranvir Sena activists today shot dead five persons and critically injured two others in a village in extremist-hit Arwal district of Bihar. Heavily armed members of the private army of landlords swooped on Bariari village and shot dead five persons, Superintendent of Police P P Pandey said. Two others were critically injured in the attack which was stated to be because of old enmity, he said. The injured have been admitted to Patna Medical College Hospital. Military police and Special Task Force personnel have launched a hunt for the extremists and have sealed all entry and exit points of Arwal. Bureau Report
