Kanpur, Feb 07: A major fire broke out in a jute mill here today, destroying property worth lakhs of rupees, police said. Around one dozen fire tenders were pressed into service and it took around one and a half hours to bring the fire in the J K Jute Mills under control.
The cause of the fire is being investigated, police said. Bureau Report
