Lucknow, May 29: Five people, including four women and a child, were killed and three others received serious burn injuries in a fire that broke out in Balrampur district yesterday, reports reaching the state police headquarters here said today. The fire also gutted about 70 houses destroying property worth several lakhs, the reports said adding the injured were admitted to a hospital. The blaze is supposed to have originated from a small fire some children had lit for roasting maize corns. Bureau Report
