In a significant breakthrough, Delhi Police arrested two Nepalese nationals who were supplying explosives to Maoist faction in Nepal, police sources said on Wednesday. Acting on a tip off, police arrested Kishan Bahadur and Suraj Bahadur from Old Delhi railway station late on Tuesday night when they were preparing to leave the capital on their way to Nepal, the sources said.
Fifty kgs of poly-proplene powder (explosives), 389 detonators, 46 fuse fires and 28 gelatins sticks were recovered from them. The duo admitted that they belong to pro-Maoist faction and were to supply this consignment to one Karan Bahadur, a Maoist leader.
Emergency was clamped down in Nepal following large scale killings by Maoist rebels in various parts of the country. Bureau Report
