Bhopal, May 29: Popular actress Karisma Kapoor today suggested financing of movies by big industrial houses as it would encourage professionalism in the film industry. “It will be a welcome move if the industrial houses agree to finance films. This can also give the artistes better opportunities to prove themselves,” she told reporters here.
She said it was wrong to conclude that Hindi films were going through a bad phase. “Every time it is said that Hindi films are going through a bad phase and this has no meaning,” Kapoor said.
On her appearance in a TV serial, Kapoor said she was an actress who would like to reach out to as many people as possible.
