New Delhi, Apr 05: India today indicated that it would respond positively to Pakistan`s offer for technical level talks in May on nuclear Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) between the two countries.
``We have received dates for talks in the second half of May. We will be responding,`` an external affairs ministry spokesman said.

The spokesman noted that this was one of the proposals mooted in the joint statement issued by the two sides at the end of the official-level talks between them on February 18 in Islamabad.

The official-level dialogue was set in motion after a historic meeting between Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf on the sidelines of the SAARC summit in Islamabad.
