Rail traffic to be restored in Gujarat after a gap of 10 years
Vadodara, June 29: After a gap of over ten years, suspended rail traffic on the three sections of Bodeli-Chhotaudepur, Ankleshwar-Rajpipla and Kosamba-Umarpada in Gujarat will be restored in a next couple of days, according to divisional railway manager Santoshkumar Jha here today.

The rail traffic on Bodeli-Chhotaudepur section of the
western railway falling under Vadodara district was suspended
since August 24, 1990, after heavy floods damaged the bridge
constructed on Orsang river.
While rail traffic on Ankleshwar-Rajpipla and Kosamba-Umarpada sections falling under three districts of Narmada, Bharuch and Surat in the south Gujarat was suspended from June 16, 1994.
The closure of the route had severely affected the movement of goods traffic and people.
