Microsoft India launches `accelerator` for Six Sigma

New Delhi, Aug 05: Microsoft Corporation India Pvt Ltd today announced the launch of Microsoft acclerator for Six Sigma to help organisations map their processes effectively.
Microsoft will partner with top consultants for marketing the solution in India which is aimed at manufacturing, it services, healthcare and financial services segment and leverage existing software such as Microsoft project, office and vision, a company release said here today.
Six Sigma is data driven high-performance approach to analyse and solve root cause of business problems.
The 'accelerator' provides added functionality, designed specifically for Six Sigma organisations like interactive project guides to lead Six Sigma teams through each phase within the DMAIC (define, measure, analyse, improve and control) mode.
"Our objective is to provide offerings that improve productivity in all aspects of a company and enable customers to take greater advantage of the functionality in their software to address specific business problems,” Tarun Mallick, product manager, Microsoft India said.
