Jammu, Aug 02: Two Army jawans were injured in firing by Pakistani troops in the Nowshera sector of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said here today.

Pakistani troops, using small arms, resorted to firing from across the Line of Control and targetted forward defence locations in Jhanghar, Bhawani and Kalsian areas of Nowshera sector from 1640 hours yesterday, the sources said.
After intermittent firing continued, Indian troops retaliated and the exchange of firing continued till 1900 hours yesterday, they said. Two Army jawans, who received bullet wounds were later evacuated to Army Hospital in Rajouri.
Reports from International Border (IB) said intermittent firing exchange between the two sides was also reported at Budhwar, Karotna and Khurd in Jammu district during the last twenty-four hours without any damage or loss to the Indian side. Bureau Report
