Mumbai, March 06: Transporters tonight called off their three-day-old strike after Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde assured them that the state government would appeal in the Supreme Court in their favour and engage a senior advocate to present their case.
Mumbai, March 06: Transporters tonight called off their three-day-old strike after Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde assured them that the state government would appeal in the Supreme Court in their favour and engage a senior advocate to present their case.
"The transporters have decided to call off the strike after Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde`s assurance of providing a senior advocate for representing our case in the Supreme Court on behalf of the state government," Vahan Bachao Kriti Samiti leader said.
