Vijayawada, Sept 11: Activists of city Congress and youth Congress staged dharnas here today demanding resignation of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in view of the arrest of a TDP MLA in connection with the multi-crore fake stamp-paper racket. Led by K Butchi Babu city Congress president, Jallel Khan MLA and Batha Sankar city youth Congress president, they held Dharna infront of the offices of the sub-collector and sub-registrar, also demanding government action against those involved in the scam. Meanwhile, Congress activists led by PCC doctors cell chairman G Gandhar held dharna infront of the government hospital here to protest alleged apathetic attitude of the government towards medical services in the state, `affecting' the common people.
