Lupin founders scrap talks with Newbridge
Mumbai, Oct 13: The founders of Lupin Ltd, Chairman Desh Bandhu Gupta and associates, have decided to discontinue talks to sell a 12.55 per cent stake in the firm to the US-based investment firm Newbridge Capital, the Bombay Stock Exchange said on Monday.

On Sunday, Lupin said its founders had entered into a final agreement with CVC International to sell another 12.55 per cent stake in the company for $27 million, finalising a preliminary deal done in July.
